Scientific name: Cichorium intybus var. foliosum
This variety of radicchio has deep red leaves with white stripes.
The leaves are crunchy, and its taste is delicate but bitter.
In the kitchen it can be used for a variety of dishes: from risotto, to side dishes!
It’s very resistant to cold: place it in full sun, in the lower levels or your Poty.
